Friendly service and the interior is well designed. You can also sit outside. You should make a reservation. We went to breakfast and weren't entirely happy. Breakfast has to be put together. The prices are quite high. Either a sausage breakfast or a cheese breakfast both for almost EUR 10, without a drink. If you want both, you also have to order cheese or sausage. The amount of cold cuts is not enough. The vegan breakfast was not what you expected either. Scrambled eggs were very dry and unseasoned. It's ok, you can add salt. The best was the tomato cream and the pulled pork. Everything served in small pots. The crowd was again what the big eaters criticized. I deduct 2 stars based on the amount served and the price. One final point: it's a shame the menu isn't available on the website.

"Komplett schlechter Service." About the service, it was terrible. For breakfast, we bought "Alles Wurscht" and there werent any pork wurst as it is written. They just brought some much cheaper meat without asking us. We were 4 people, and some of us' food was in another plate and we didnt notice it until we were almost finished. They didnt bring spoon for boiled eggs and granola-yogurt mix, we need to go inside again for taking spoons. In addition to these, everytime you need to go inside for ordering and paying. About the food, portion of breakfast was too less eventough it is expensive (and i didnt get why does it show only one euro sign on google?). Foods were kind of good, but in general we werent happy about the place, and probably will not come again.

Reservation for breakfast for two. I didn't know breakfast à la carte before, until then I was used to a 100% buffet. This limits the choice of dishes considerably. (You can, for example, choose a cheese breakfast or a vegan one) Of course we all eat way too much, of course too much food is thrown away - so it may be the right approach that is being followed here. It is beautifully presented! And it's high quality food! But since the prices are quite steep, the sight is a bit disappointing when you are served. A bowl of this one, a blob of that one, a mini-piece of it ... Two rolls and 3 half slices of rye bread were served for two people. Coffee is not included! The waitress was very stressed, although the shop was not full, we had to go to the counter, as we might also be sitting awkwardly and something was being ignored. When it came, it brought it quickly, but did not ask any further questions whether everything was good or something else was desired (what it was ...). Additional little things - e.g. lack of sugar for coffee. The weather was unhappy, for which nobody can help, but there were also no fans or the like. For dessert (and because it still fit in well) we ordered a cinnamon croissant and a piece of cake - in a pastry shop you get a little skeptical if it is still a bit frozen inside ...

I don't know it very well as I went there only one time, but I can tell that I was very well received, the ice cream was very good and with fair price.

I come every weekend especially for the delicious homemade granola with fruit. How disappointed I was when the waitress served me it today. I think it's okay that the price is increased and I would be happy to support, but I don't think it's okay to reduce the amount.

Get a table on Sunday at 11 a.m. without reservation. Breakfast very rich and delicious. Service attentive and nice.

We go to the cafe more often the cakes and pastries are very tasty. A nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and courteous. Even our dog is welcome. Highly recommended.

A customer of Cafe Razen for almost 30 years, but the quality of various products is no longer comparable. Furthermore, you shouldn't necessarily hope to get them when you pre-order if you want to pick them up. The ambience cannot hide the fact.

Very cosy shop a bit away from the bustle of the inner city. Great coffee and tea selection, delicious desserts and the ice cream is among the best I’ve eaten. Service is absolutely stellar. Full Marks for this shop. I’ll be back when I’m near Trier. PS: try the hazelnut ice cream, when it melts in your mouth, you’ll feel like melting as well!

An excellent cafe. The breakfast is really delicious. Especially the vegan breakfast is recommended. In addition there are great Teevarianten and the croissants are also very good. Only the windows on the sunny side need darkening options because it really gets hot quickly.

Fine confectionery! Absolute insider tip. A classic coffee house without the typical tourist bustle.

Best value as far as cakes go.
